Cary has an extensive history in the Film, Television and Live Production Industries.  His career started in Seattle as an independent Cameraman, Editor and Filmmaker.  He made Commercials, Independent Films, Ski Movies, Stringer Work and taught Beginning filmmaking Classes.  He became a part of the renowned Retina Circus Light Show Troupe doing Background Visual Light Shows for live Musical Performances in cities from Vancouver, BC to San Francisco, CA.  The Troupe also received a Northwest Emmy for live standalone Light Shows telecast in 1969. 

Cary left Seattle for Los Angeles on an invitation to go into Sales and Product Management and Design in Southern California.  Over the following years, he represented numerous companies; Cinema Beaulieu, Stellavox, Colortran, OConnor Camera Support (twice), Instrumentation Marketing Corporation (representing NAC & Photo-Sonics) and J.L. Fisher, Inc.

 
 

 

At these companies, Cary worked in various capacities including; sales, sales training, marketing, advertising, product development, evaluations and acquisitions as well as studies to sell businesses and business management. He has been a guest lecturer at numerous venues like; NYU, MIT, Woods Hole, Dartmouth, UW Madison, Washington State University, USC, UCLA and LA Art Center to name a few. 

Cary also has provided Consultation Services for many Domestic & International companies through his Pelican Group and two iterations of his, ‘The Concept Company, LLC’ and ‘The Concept Company’ consulting companies.
